IN 8th grade, there was a book fair held at my middle school. Before that day I was never able to buy any books or things because my parents always thought it was a waste of money, but that day they gave me money to buy a book. The reason they gave me money for it, was because I told them that my teacher was forcing us to buy one so that we can have something to read on our special time. I know that lying is a bad thing, but i'm glad I did because otherwise I would have never found this amazing book that I love sooooo much!
Anyway, back to the book. When the book begins the setting is in a airport located in Bangkok, Thailand. The main character, Gemma, had just gotten in an argument with her parents and decided to get a cup of coffee. When she was in line, she could feel someone gazing at her. As she looked around she noticed a very cute guy with blue eyes looking right towards her. He looked away as her eyes met his and she turned around waiting for her coffee to be made. She then takes out her British coins in order to pay for her coffee when all of a sudden the worker tells her that they do not accept coins and asked if she had any bills. She replied with the answer that she had spent them all at London. Then she felt a chill up her spine as if someone were standing behind her. It was him. He asked if he can pay for it and if she wouldn't mind sitting with him. He asked her if she wanted any sugar and she said yes. But it wasn't sugar he was putting in. As they talked she drank her coffee and blacked out. It was then at that moment when she was "STOLEN." Throughout they go through a number of challenges and adventure. This is truly the best book I have ever read! THis is the first and only book that has brought me to tears. I have never felt the pain of the characters suffering as much as I did on this amazing book here. I suggest that you give this book a chance because you might just be the next victim to fall in love with it.
